Dr. A. K. Seth, professor and I/c principal of Vidyabharti Trust College of pharmacy, Umrakh, received “National Achievement award for Education Leadership’ for the year 2007, given by Indian Economic Development and Research Association, (IEDRA) New Delhi, in World Habitat Center, New Delhi, on 26th September, 2007, in a seminar on ‘Globalization of Indian Industries and World peace’ and award distribution function. The award was by presented by former chief election commissioner Shri G. V. G Krishmurthy and Shri M. V. Rajshekheran, Union minister of planning for state, Government of India.

Dr. A. K. Seth has been recognized and honored for the best economically developed pharmacy college for the benefit of rural area. Dr. Seth obtained his M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from Dr. H. S. Gour Vishvavidyala, UTD, Sagar (M.P.), and PhD from M. S. University Baroda. He has 24 years of teaching and research experience.

Dr. A. K. Seth has developed ‘Vidyabharti Trust College of Pharmacy’ Umrakh, with all modern facilities in order to develop students’ skill up to the industrial level.

Dr. A. K. Seth has published many research papers in both national and international journals. He has presented many papers in state and national level seminars. He has authored four theory books and one practical book in pharmaceutics for diploma and degree pharmacy students.

Dr. A. K. Seth has organized several state and national level seminars during his service till date. He is a life member of APTI. His research area includes development of novel drug delivery systems.
